Seven hikers enjoyed a fantastic hike up the Darnell Creek Trail to the Bartram Trail, and then to Rabun Bald. We hiked about 15 miles and climbed about 3,200 feet! The creeks were low and only one required wading in ankle-deep water. The views and water sounds were great as always on these trails. The weather was cool until we began our climb up Rabun Bald, when it turned hot and humid. But soon a light rain cooled us off and kept us comfortable, if wet, all the way back down. I believe everyone had a great time and would do this hike again!
