We met briefly at the Trading Post and caravanned to the Iron Hill Trail Parking Lot. Upon arriving at the parking lot, we found it almost full, including the overflow lot. There we did introductions at the trail head. Starting at the parking lot hiking in a clockwise direction stopping at the iron mine for a group picture. We hiked to the spur going to the old camp, hiked past the old restroom, turned around and hiked to the spur going to the old picnic area. From there we returned to the parking lot. We got about 20 seconds of rain and found the parking lot empty when we returned.
