We had a wonderful and interesting hike up Currahee Mountain. The weather started out quite hot and we were drenched from perspiration by the time we reached the top. It is a challenging climb in terrifically hot weather.
We looked at the many views from both sides of the mountain and then headed back down to our cars.
An interesting thing happened: The sky suddenly darkened and we had an immediate sudden drop in the heat. It was instantaneous!
We got back to our cars and the rain began in earnest.
It was a great day for a hike with wonderful friends today.
