We had 12 determined hikers who laughed in the face of the weatherman and hiked with me at Jones Bridge CRNRA this morning. Turned out that we had no rain. It was a bit humid, but the temperatures were in the 70's the whole hike, so it wasn't too bad. The trails were in surprisingly good shape considering the rain we had the past few days. My Alltrails says we hiked 5.9 miles with 404 feet of elevation in 2:11 which is a pace of 2.7 mph.  Job well done hikers. 

We welcomed Newbie Mike Mc on his 2nd AOC hike. I hope he  enjoyed the hike and will join us on many more in the future.

We also had a number of Drewbies ( more than 10 total hikes, but less than 10 with me). Larry was on his 4th, Trish on her 5th, Daphne on her 6th, and Vickie on her 7th.  The other Mike Mc was on his 10th hike with me and is no longer a Drewbie.  Congratulations to all. 

It was a really fun hike today.
