All 10 participants* for the Amicalola Falls Stairs/Hike Inn round trip hike were on time and ready to go for the start of the hike, including the hiker who got off the waiting list around 9:30 p.m. the night before.  Everyone successfully climbed the 600+ stairs effortlessly and hiked the trail to and from the Hike Inn and the final descent of the stairs without any accidents. 

We had excellent weather with temps from 70 to 80 degrees - overcast skies in the morning with the sun coming out in the afternoon. We even had some cool breezes. Because we had parked at the Visitor Center, we didn't get involved with the log jam of cars at the Top of the Falls parking lot.
