The heat was up today, so we sweated! We kept up a good pace and finished at 5.9 miles, having added about 10 minutes to the hike in order to use the woods instead of the road after completing the lollipop trail.

We saw numerous patches of beautiful mushrooms right by the trails. Quite remarkable, since there hasn't been much rain recently.

The Chattapoochee dogs were out today. Such well-behaved groups of dogs!

How nice to see the Renegades gathering in the Visitor Center parking lot and again on the Lollipop Trail!
