Todays hike at Jones Bridge CRNRA could not have been better. The weather was perfect, sunny and cool. All 15 hikers were able to maintain the same pace, and everyone got along very well. With the lack of rain lately, the trails were in great shape. We hiked 5.7-5.8 miles, depending on who you ask, in 2:12 which comes out to a pace of 2.9 mph.  That's faster than normal, but it is easier to do in this weather. We did not have any Newbies today, but we did have some Drewbies. Elizabeth was on her 6th hike with me. Daphne and Marge were on their 7th hike with me. There was lots of jibber-jabbering and laughing on the hike, so I think everyone had a good time. 

All in all, a great hike.
