Another really nice hike at Island Ford. The temperature was up a bit from last week, but when we were in the shade and caught a little breeze, it was pleasant.

Wally was once again first up the warmup hill! (David Wittinberg, here's another challenger for you!)

We had two dogs on our hike today! Paul returned with Rio, and Joni was on her second AOC hike today, with Mali, her German Shepherd. Both dogs were exceptionally well-behaved and didn't really pay much attention to each other.

We skipped the Lollipop Trail today, instead going to the old homestead, and through the woods to the apartment complex. We got in about 5 miles . . . less than usual because of taking breaks to greet the Renegades, to stop at the old homestead, plus a couple of water breaks.

A great combination of oldies, newbies, and canines today!
