Russ was at his energetic best today, enthusiastically welcoming all the newcomers to the AOC and leading us at a good clip throughout the park.  As is his custom, Russ stopped to take photos of Bleau when we saw him in the creek and again in the water close to the dam.  The day was perfect for taking photos - - overcast skies but clean, clear air. 

Once we finished with picture taking, Russ picked up the pace and we got a good workout along the rocky, hilly trails in the park.  We did cross Oxbo Road to hike along Hogwallow Creek, where Russ took a group photo on the bridge across the creek.

Despite the pauses for photos, we finished the hike with 5.5 miles under our belts - - a great hike!
