Vickery Creek AOC Hike – Sunday Morning Highlights

Eight energetic hikers, including Ann H, Fernando C, VG, Mei, Lisa S, Lauri F, Elisa B, and Erica B, covered 4.5 miles in just 90 minutes on a fast-paced, energizing hike through Vickery Creek’s most scenic corridors. The route featured old ruins, remains of two structures and a fire pit, two bridges, two waterfalls, two creeks, and three parks, all framed by crisp trails and vibrant fall foliage.

Wildlife sightings added to the magic: three deer (including one striking buck) and a watchful owl who made brief but memorable appearances. The group shared conversations with awesome hikers enjoying a great trail full of scenic highlights and good company.

This AOC outing was a perfect blend of nature, movement, and connection. Even a short morning hike can leave a lasting impression. Look forward to the next hike!
