Sun, Oct 26 2025 - Sunday Morning Hike from Riverside Park to Don White Park (View Original Event Details)
| ![]() |
It was a cloudy, breezy, chilly morning, but perfect for our moderate hike from Riverside Park, through Don White Park, and into the woods. We had plenty of time to sit for a while at the gazebo at Martin's Landing, so I got several nice photos of the group engaged in pretty intense conversation.
Gerrilyn, we saw your sister playing tennis there. The man who showed up with his dog and talked with us said she was playing over there, so we walked by and said "hello."
We had time to pass through the beautiful garden behind St. Andrew church to see the Stations of the Cross. What a peaceful, serene, place to sit and contemplate.
The plan was to go 4 miles in 2 hours. We covered 4.2 miles in about 1 hour, 45 minutes. A really nice, relaxing, untaxing event.
Nice to see Mike W., David A., and Srini join our regulars today!
Thanks to Rocky for the group photos. ~ Joyce
