Another beautiful day for hiking at Island Ford. It was Russ's 700th AOC event today, so we took several photos before beginning our hike. We found someone camped out in a tent at the end of the parking lot, so we reported it to the Sandy Springs police. They sent out a park ranger who talked with the guy in the tent and had him take down the tent. The guy way still in the parking lot when we returned after our hike. Wonder if he camped out again?

We skipped the Lollipop Trail today, instead sticking to the trails in the main section and adding the trail across the street that ended at the park entrance. We covered over 5 miles, so we got in a good workout today.

Wally was once again first up the warmup hill. Steve was back after 6 weeks vacationing overseas. And Indira joined our Thursday group for the first time today.
