It was a great day for hiking. We did introductions at the Pigeon Hill parking lot. We then proceeded up and down Pigeon Hill, Little Kennesaw, and Kennesaw Mountain. We stopped briefly at the closed Visitor Center. Cobb Water is now replacing the 24” water line going by the Visitor Center. Even if the park were open the Visitor Center parking lot would be closed. The scheduled completion date is January 1, 2026. Leaving the Visitor Center, we followed the Camp Brumby Trail to the New Salem Church Trail and the sidewalk back to the parking lot.
