We did introductions at the end of the parking lot. The first thing you could not help but notice was how beautiful the leaves were on the ground and how few trees still had leaves. We started by following the Noses Creek Trail to the Hardage Mill Trail. We then took the Hardage Mill Trail until it met the Noses Creek Trail by Whitlock Road. We crossed Whitlock Road, took the Cease Fire Trial to the intersection of the Old John Ward Trail, and returned to Whitlock Road. We crossed Whitlock Road and followed the Noses Creek Trail to the New Salem Church Trail. We followed the New Salem Church Trail to the Pigeon Hill Cutoff Trail, followed it to Little Kennesaw Mountain Trail, and returned to the parking lot. The weather was chilly to start. However, it warmed up quickly.
