It was a cold morning, but not bitterly cold. The trees blocked the wind for most of the hike, and while we were moving, we kept warm-ish. We hiked through Sope Creek to the middle Cochran Shoals unit, and took the long bike trail to the Columns Drive parking lot, where we took advantage of the bathrooms.

We kept a pretty steady moving pace, finishing the hike at 5.3 miles in 2 hours and 15 minutes.

It was nice to welcome our newbies, Stephen and Sam, both of whom had 3 AOC only three events with the club.
