What a fantastic way to kick off the day! Our early morning hike at Island Ford was a brisk and beautiful 4.5 miles completed in just 1.5 hours. Huge thanks to everyone who joined—VG, Liz C, Jim A, Linda B, Fernando C, Mei C, Amanda W, Colleen B, Jose B, Dolores H, Mike M, and Erica B. You all brought great energy and camaraderie to the trail! Special shout out to Mike M and Jose Q, our newest members who crushed their very first hike with the group. Welcome to the AOC! The fast-paced crew got to see some of the best views of the Chattahoochee rivers, rock formations, and the peaceful pond loop that rounded out our route. Looking forward to many more AOC adventures together!
