We had 14 brave hikers who ignored the cloudy skies and came on a fun hike at Jones Bridge CRNRA this morning. The trails were in surprisingly good condition today, even after the rain. We did not encounter any muddy spots. We covered 6 miles with 397 feet of elevation in 2:18 for a pace of 2.7 mph, which is pretty much our normal pace. Not a whole lot of wildlife sightings today, but we did see a group of cormorants hanging out on a rock in the river. Lots of laughing and talking today, so I'm pretty sure everyone had a good time.
A special thank you to Joyce for sharing the great pictures she took on the hike today. You can view them by clicking the Album Icon at above right.
