We had a decent hike today at Kennesaw Mountain on my second hike as a co-lead.  The weather was a bit cold when we started but it was sunny.  The sun helped at times to combat the wind and cold. 

We hiked ~6.4 miles with elevation gain of a little more than 1000 ft. and an average pace of ~2.7 MPH.

I want to thank all the hikers today for their friendliness and bearing with me during a few glitches.  It was my first hike with most of you.  And welcome to our new-ish AOC members Arlene, Pinky and Amanda.

A special thanks to Mike C as my co-lead and for the advice before and during the hike.
