We did introductions in the parking lot. It was a bit chilly as we started, however, once we started hiking it warmed up quickly. We headed for Sibley Pond. As we hiked, we looked for turtles, it must have been too cold, there were none. We hiked in a counterclockwise direction. We stopped briefly at the new Paper Mill adjacent to Paper Mill Road to talk about its history. We crossed the over Sope Creek, did the one-way trail to the 1840 Paper Mills, stopped to talk about the mills and returned. From there we returned to the parking lot.
