Winter "officially" starts next week, but really it is here already. But this is in the best, most crystal clear sky, crisp air and just the right temperature way. Seven veteran AOC hikers enjoyed a hike to the top with an extra loop around the top before descending and joining the Cherokee Trail. Everyone in the group has been to Stone Mountain; however, I did manage to show some steps and a trail or two that were new to a few. I enjoyed hiking with George for the first and seeing the others I have not hiked with in a bit. A great morning hike overall!
