Write Up:
Thank you for joining me at the beautiful Gold Branch unit of the CRNRA. The weather was not as cold as I thought it would be. I didn’t even wear gloves for fear my iPhone would end up in the river as it did a few years ago. I had forgotten how beautiful Gold Branch is with most of the trail along the water. A few long hills as we turned away from the water burned off plenty of calories even though we were just short of 4 miles. Special welcome to Whitney who joined us on her second hike with the club.
