The 12 Paddle Challenge begins! I am going to paddle at 12 different state parks in 2026 and am curious to see how many AOC member will join me! We had 11 people paddle at Sweetwater Creek State yesterday. The weather was cool but everyone stayed warm and dry. In addition to circling around the two lakes we traversed through the culvert. A new experience for many! We were also excited to see some migrating Buffle Head Ducks! Don’t worry if you want to join the challenge and missed this paddle - I will be offering make-up paddles along the way. See everyone next month at Watson Mill Bridge State Park!
