We had a great hike at Bowmans Island this morning. After a couple of last minute drop offs, we ended up with 13 ready to go hikers. We hiked 6.4 miles with 456 feet of elevation in 2:30. The trails were in great shape and, with the leaves off the trees, we got some great views of the river from the hill tops. We saw a whole bunch of deer, but I think in the end it was the same group of deer several times. Not sure who was following who. We took a reverse route on the hike which gave us a whole new perspective.
