It was a chilly morning, so we took only one water break; consequently, we got in 6 miles today rather than our usual 5.5. We had our regulars on the hike, so everyone knew the drill and kept up just fine. What a great group today.

Our route today was again a unique one, since we started at Groveway Park. We'll miss the Riverside Park lot until renovation is completed in 2027, but Groveway has a big, free lot and a bathroom, so we'll be just fine.

We saw a couple of deer today . . . a nice surprise on our hike. I was able to get one photo of one of them before they took off into the woods.
