Simpsonwood is a complicated park if one ventures off the red blazed loop. We ventured off and spent half the hike just traipsing through all kinds of interesting trails and across bridges. Barbara helped us find the labyrinth, which was a great place for picture taking. Everyone made an attempt at following the maze to the center, but it was generally agreed that the path was not continuous, so there was really not way to meditatively walk to the center.

It was a chilly morning, but warmer than yesterday, so that after a while, we were very comfortable. We saw the remains of ice on the trail and in the creek, and we were lucky to spot lots of deer during the second half of the hike.
