Seven of us enjoyed hiking along Sandy Spring's newest trail called "Springway" today. Temps were in the 30s, but we were comfortable since we were all bundled up!

Springway has an impressive new boardwalk around Orkin Lake with wonderful lake views. We also enjoyed bird watching as we hiked along this route today.

We also hiked around Morgan Falls Overlook Park - which includes both paved trails and trails through wooded areas. This hike also passed by Bull Sluice Lake and the Chattahoochee River.

All told - it was a great five-mile hike with lots of water views and great people!
