We had a group of 10 plus one canine; it was a warm sunny day in the 60s with little to no wind, unusual for February.  We started from Lake Winfield Scott up the Jarrad Gap trail to the intersection of the AT.  We headed NB to Blood Mtn. enjoyed the views at the top before proceeding to Neel Gap where we took our lunch break.  After lunch we started our 2.2 mile ascent back to Blood Mountain, that was the challenging section of the hike but after reaching the top, it was all down hill, we went back on the Slaughter Creek trail back to our cars. Everyone did great!
