Write Up:We had 6 hikers this morning at Gold Branch CRNRA. It was warm, muggy and overcast at the beginning but the sun greeted us later to make for a beautiful hike.
According to Mary Beth, I chose the uphill path at most trail intersections except near the end. But that helped us with the 1100 ft. elevation gain during the 7.6 mile hike.
We welcomed fairly new member Aimee. It was my 2nd time hiking with Mary Beth. I've hiked a number of times with Vicki, Dawn and Mike but they still decided to hike with me anyway.
Thanks to all,
Jeff
