We did introductions at the end of the parking lot. We started by going up Pigeon Hill on the Little Kennesaw Mountain Trail until we came to the Camp Brumby Trail taking it to the New Salem Church Trail. We stopped to look at the New Salem Church. We followed it until it met the Noses Creek Trail. Turning left on the Noses Creek Trail, we followed it to Whitlock Road. We crossed Whitlock Road and followed the Cease Fire Trial to the intersection of the Old John Ward Trail and returned to the Noses Creek Trail where we entered the Hardage Mill Trail. We followed the Hardage Mill Trail until it met the Noses Creek Trail and returned to the parking lot. The weather was chilly to start. However, it warmed up quickly. We saw between 11 and 13 deer. There were none inside the New Salem Church area as there was the last time.
