We did introductions in the parking lot. It was a bit chilly after our warmer weekend as we started, however, once we started hiking it warmed up quickly. We headed for Sibley Pond. We hiked in a counterclockwise direction. We stopped briefly at the new Paper Mill adjacent to Paper Mill Road to talk about its history. We crossed the over Sope Creek, did the one-way trail to the 1840 Paper Mills, stopped to talk about the mills and returned. From there we returned to the parking lot.
