I was a little cold to start. However, once we started hiking it warmed up quickly. We met at the Overflow parking lot, did introductions, and hiked to the Visitor Center. We did the Environmental Trail in a clockwise director until we came to the 24 Gun Trail. We followed the 24 Gun Trail to Gilbert Road, turned around and returned to the overflow a. We stopped briefly at several spots to talk about the trails or the history. We stopped briefly at various spots to talk about various events.
