Write Up:
It was a beautiful day on the lake. As the nice, cool northwesterly breeze made it feel like fall, we paddled 6+ miles with a great group of people. The bird life was very active, as the swallows danced in the air skimming across the water. The many blue herons soaring from one place to another, I thought of my friends up north that like to call them pterodactyls, because they’re so large. And as the Comorants dove for fish, some of us gliding across the water with proper lake kayaks, and others like me, chugging along noisily churning along getting a good workout.
