We had 10 hikers this morning at Gold Branch CRNRA. The weather was nice after the quick drizzle at the very beginning. We didn't see any turtles, but did see ducks, geese, an egret and a heron.  The water level was still a bit low.

It was my first time hiking with a number of folks (Lynn, Jodi, Bob, Alice and Irina) and 2nd time hiking with Gary.  We hiked 7.5 miles and 1000+ feet of elevation gain at an average pace of 2.8 MPH.
