It was a wonderful day for a hike. We enjoyed each other's company and the scenery while hiking 6 miles with a 570 foot elevation gain going 2.5 mph. The nature trail signs confirmed our earlier sightings of Pawpaw trees and large leaf magnolias in bloom. A too tame deer and a turtle were our wildlife sightings.

Some of us enjoyed an afterhike lunch at a local restaurant.
