We could not have asked for a better day to go hiking. We met at Groveway Park and did introductions, after coming down the hill I turned right and followed Big Creek, going up the hill going into the neighborhood. As I started returning the way we came Amanda asked why I did not go to Roswell Mill. I said I did not want to go along South Atlanta St. She showed us how to cut though a neighborhood that came out just above The Mill’s parking lot. We crossed the bridge, walked along Big Creek, and headed to the Vickery Creek parking lot. We hiked along Riverside Dr, reentering the park at the top of the road going up the hill and returned to the bridge crossing Big Creek. We walked down Oxbo Road and the gravel road back up to the park going around the fields back to the parking lot.
