We had 14 hikers (15 counting Rio) at Vickery Creek who endured the sweatfest as we approach summertime in Atlanta.  With the recent rains, the creek was flowing fast, high and muddy.  The trails were a little wet but not too bad and we encountered a few downed trees in our path.

We covered 5.9 miles at an average pace of 2.8 mph. 

There were no newbies on the hike but it was nice to hike with Surabi and Lyn for the first time and with Mike for the 2nd time.  And it's always great to catch up with other frequent Thursday morning hikers.
