Couldn't have asked for a better day. 70 and sunny with a light breeze. The Park saff had closed the visitors' Center while they went for lunch so we weren't able to  get a trail map but we had our trusty Garmin and past experience. We started at Cool Springs Overlook and hiked to the tower then headed down to the West Overlook where we had lunch. Cindi was kind enough to share her cheese and apples, Jimmy his dried cherries, and Mary Helen some toasted almonds. Then we headed east to check out the Stone wall and Indian Legends. After hiking back to the parking lot the group said they wanted more. WHAT A SPIRIT! So we headed down the Gahuti trail for abut a mile and then back tracked. The found that the Gahuti trail was a little tough than the tower trail. A good time had by all.
