We had 5 hikers today at Laurel Ridge Trail at Lake Lanier. It was an absolutely beautiful day for a hike, with temperatures in the 70s and a pretty constant breeze to keep us cool. We covered 6.50 miles with 650 feet of elevation. We saw a wild turky soon after starting the hike, hopping around in the trees above us. The trails were in very good condition, so we had no slips or trips followed by a face plant. A good time was had by all.
