We had a full house of 15 hikers this morning at Hyde Farm/Mulberry Creek. It was definately challenging. It was already in the 80s and very humid when the hike started. It was 90 when we finished. it turns out that when we got to the low land, we interrupted the Southeaster Mosquito Convention. I have never encountered as many mosquitos. Because of the heat and humidity we slowed the pace down and took a lot of water breaks. Everybody completed the hike in pretty good shape.

We welcomed Newbies Jim and Mari on their first AOC hike and Beth on her second. I hope you all had a good time and will join us on many more hikes in the future.
