It was wonderful meeting Lo and Dan who completed today their second AOC hike, and first D3.

We finished the hike much earlier than scheduled as we only completed 8.5 miles instead of the advertised 9.5, with an elevation gain of 928ft. I believe we’re still within the acceptable range for a D3. Our average pace was 3.1 mph, but our moving pace was even faster. We were lucky with the weather— temp in the low 70s & overcast all the way.
