The sky started to mist lightly as soon as we arrived to Stone Mtn, so we went around the mountain first, it’s better safe than sorry on the big rock.

We were fortunate to have mostly overcast skies, hiked over 6 miles at a steady pace of almost 2.9 mph.

Then we took our time climbing the rock, we made sure to “hug the shade” while climbing by staying on the right side of the trail for as long as we could, always a nice breeze on top though!
