Write Up:
It was a hot morning but we lucky had some cloud cover on the summits and shade on the Cherokee Trail. The Cherokee Trail is closed by the carving 7/1-7/7. You have to go around up by the train and through the mini golf course to get back on the trail. There is also a large tree down but we were able to navigate around it.
