We did introductions in the parking lot. He headed toward the river via the Connecting Trail. Beech Creek Loop to the warmup hill, followed it around Hewitt Pond up to the connecting trail going to the first parking lot. We continued on Beech Creek Loop until we came to the lower Connecting Trail until it joined the Inner Loop Trail, turning left we followed it back to the Beech Creek Loop where we turned left and headed back to Hewitt Pond. Continuing on the Beech Creek Loop until we came to the Connecting Trail going back to the parking lot.
