Write Up:
We had a good morning hiking the Overlook and the Bear Creek trails from the parking lot. We were so happy to only get our feet wet in the stream crossings. After a quick lunch as we headed down to the stairs, rain and a significant thunderstorm started up so we decided to turn around and head back to the cars. Still it was a very satisfying hike with 9.5 miles and 1835 feet of elevation.
