We had 9 hikers on our D1 hike at Webb Bridge Park. We could not have asked for a better July 31st day. It was sunny (but we were in the shade most of the time) with temperatures in the 70s and a nice breeze the whole way.  We had to remember that tomorrow is just the beginning of August. We hiked 4.5 miles with just over 400 feet of elevation. Most of that was one one hill we climbed twice. We hiked quietly by the grassy area with the "Beware of Snakes" sign. No snakes spotted. We maintained a pretty consistent pace to finish the hike in about 1:45.

We welcomed two Newbies on the hike. Nicole on her 4th AOC hike and Bill on his 3rd. They both fit in very well with the group and I hope to see them on many more hikes in the future.
