Maxime L, Alice G and Alice LC (the birthday and name twins) had beautiful, breezy weather for the hike to Preacher's Rock from Woody Gap. We followed the AT to Jarrard Gap, where we had lunch. On the way back, we heard thunder but no rain fell until we were getting in our cars.

Maxime L has now done three D4 hikes with the club. He has extensive hiking experience, did great on this hike and (I feel) is able and ready to tackle D5's.
