Write Up:
A big thanks to everyone for your patience and understanding! It was a beautiful morning, and our hike was the perfect way to start with 12 adventurers including, Karen B., Charles B, Claudia, Julie R, Matti K, Kirsten, Phil, Kelly T, Heidi, Emily, Stephen F, & Erica B. We ended up at Cochran Shoals at Columns Drive, and the parking lot was packed. Those of us who couldn't secure parking headed to Johnson Ferry South. The group at Columns Drive was led by Claudia, who hiked 3.4 miles on the River Loop. The group led by Erica hiked 3 miles on the south trails and then back on the main road to the parking lot to get their 3 miles. Congratulations to Steven for his first D1, as he normally hikes D5, and congratulations to Matti, Kelly , Phil, & Julie on completing the first of many hikes with the AOC. Welcome to the AOC!
