Clouds and mist covered Stone Montain as we began our hike. Alas, no views to the city or the mountains for this hike. However, there were wonderful views of yellow daisies all over the top of the mountain. (Yellow Daisy Festival is next month. In lieu of distant views, we enjoyed countless patches of yellow daisies as we hiked around the top. Our group was made up of AOC veterans, though half had not done the side trail I used to ascend and descend the mountain - same with the loop around the top. We were all good and hot by the end of the hike even with lower humidty. Fall can't get here fast enough.
