First, one more Happy Birthday wish for Karsten! He reached his 100th AOC event yesterday and had a birthday today! A very special two days!

We welcomed Jeanne to the AOC today; she was on just her second hike with the club. And I met Surabi for the first time today, though it was her 49th event. Nice to met these two ladies today!

Marina and Harold were back today. I hadn't seen them since last February!

Our hike was extra special today, because we came across the Renegades as they were starting their Vickery Creek hike! It always makes me so happy to see them. They're all very special to me.

As you can see from Lee's GPS tracking, we covered a lot of trails in the unit today. Our pace was just a bit faster than 2.5 minute miles, so we got in about 5.2 miles in a little over 2 hours. We had several water breaks which allowed everyone to catch up. It was a humid morning, but much better than on some past days.
