We did introductions at the parking lot and walked up to Lower Roswell Road and back. Then we hiked down to the bridge, talked about how Gold Branch got its name, and hiked the trail in a clockwise direction and returned to the parking lot. We briefly saw a black snake cross the trail. It was too fast to get a picture. There appears to have been some work on the trail by the river. It was a little easier to hike.
